Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo is proud to be managing the club where the legendary Brian Clough achieved so many impressive feats.

It took a victory at Anfield for the first time in 55 years for anyone to really take notice but the diligent work of Nuno Espirito Santo has been quietly transforming Nottingham Forest for the best part of a year.

With Forest having upgraded the facilities at the Nigel Doughty Academy last season and over the summer, players are encouraged to socialise before and after training. The canteen area and player’s lounge are now of a Premier League standard. Those at the club are no longer nervous about potential new signings seeing the facilities.

"It is present in us every day. We go around the club and we see how Brian Clough was important for Forest," Nuno told BBC Radio Nottingham. "What he achieved and how things change. The mentality of knowing that anything is possible in football and that is credit to Brian and the players of that fantastic moment.
