CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – The State Supreme Court has a petition on file that could be key to starting the high school football playoffs in West Virginia. A procedural error has delayed movement in the case most of the day Nov. 14.

The state Supreme Court received a request this afternoon from the West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission to resolve conflicting court orders.

The last 90 hours have been nothing short of a whirlwind around high school football.
