After the unexpected loss to Georgia Tech, the Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal has challenged the team's quarterback Cam Ward looking forward to the next game.

Despite the criticism, Ward still finished the day 25-of-39 passing for 348 yards and 3 TDs compared to the lone, yet critical, fumble. The Hurricanes dropped to 9-1 overall and 5-1 in the ACC, tied with Clemson and a half-game back of 5-0 SMU.

Cam Ward and No. 4 Miami finally ran out of second-half comebacks as Haynes King led Georgia Tech to a 28-23 win over the previously unbeaten Hurricanes, giving the Yellow Jackets their first win over a top-five team in 15 years.
