Action star and filmmaker Sylvester Stallone introduced President-elect Donald Trump as a “mythical character” and the “second George Washington” Thursday while introducing the next president at the America First Policy Institute gala.

The actor, whose action blockbuster career's apex coincided with the president-elect's days ruling New York as a real estate mogul, sang his praises at a Mar-a-Lago event.

"We're in the presence of a really mythical character. I love mythology," Stallone said at the event, before Trump joined him on the stage.
